Make Money Online with a 13-year old

Carl Ocab dot com wasn’t the ol’ “Make Money Online with a 13-year old” blog before. My first try was a tech blog (I generated 30 posts then, it’s funny why I deleted them all, heh), although I love tech so much I wasn’t too inspired to blog about it. My quest on niche hunting started once more. I started blogging about gossip news, health and so much more that again, didn’t work :P

Heavily inspired by my dad, I surfed, searched and think. While I was on my daily routine, I stumbled upon a “Make Money Online” blog. He has these big banners on his site that says “Advertise here for $xx a month”. Man, I was saying on my head “Wow, that banner makes more than my old site” and that gave me the idea to relaunch Carl Ocab dot com.

The name was a tricky one, “Make Money Online with a 13-year old” didn’t just came from nowhere. Me and my dad had to think about it for weeks. As a marketer himself, my dad tried to look for a unique side of my blog that would draw curiosity and would make my blog stand out from others because the “make money online” niche was so saturated.

Why it’s still 13

Many have asked me “Carl you’re already 14 why don’t you change that tagline of yours.” My dad and I have debated this for a long time.

I haven’t changed it because the blog’s title became my title. When you say “Make Money Online with a 13-year old” People would say that that is Carl Ocab, changing it to 14 would mess up my brand and the whole thing so to play safe, we have agreed and kept the 13-year old title.
